Good food and wine...could have done with a bit more cheese on the cheese platter...stunning location...great place for the kids to roll around on the grass....
What an accidental find on a hot day after watching the bike race in Lobethal. A desire for a brief respite from the heat and a quick Google search suggested Golding was 1.4km away. Greg the very friendly and knowledgeable host took us to a cooler world where the wines were superb and the food generous and delicious. The venue is absolutely fantastic in its design, outdoor and indoor. We were also warmly engaged in chat by the owner (Mr Golding I presume), a lovely gentleman who has built a wonderful winery. Do yourself a favour, go there. Cant wait for my order of Chardonnay to be delivered .. yum. I will be back.
Cant believe I have never visited here ! Absolutely stunning gardens and outdoor area. Great Wine and good food. Staff very friendly. Great place to relax and unwind after a busy week. This has to be my favourite place.
